WALLS

This project is created mainly to bring awareness to the struggles that people of color face daily based solely on the color of their skin, and the effects of the discrimination that they encounter. If we are to live up to the true ideals of America, as it has been promoted since my childhood, all Americans should be treated equally and with respect in all areas. Through my experiences, that has not been the case for minorities. My project is a visual component of a topic that has been discussed many times verbally. Possibly, this visual message will add impact to bring about change to a very deep problem. Even though you may not personally discriminate, if you accept the discrimination that you see from people that you know, then you are implicit in its development.
